Senior Associate, China Fellowship Program

Wenjing Man is the Senior Associate of the Aspen China Fellowship Program, where she supports the Program’s overall success by fostering meaningful community engagement and managing the planning and execution of its seminars and alumni gatherings.

Prior to joining Aspen, Wenjing spent five years with UNESCO in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as an Associate Project Officer, managing organization’s Communications and Information portfolio and project in relation to media development, freedom of expression, journalist safety, and inclusive digital transformation. She also co-chaired several UN working groups on social transformation and gender, and succeeded in mobilizing over $3.5 million in funding from the governments of Sweden, Australia and South Korea to support projects advancing freedom of expression, access to information and peace education.

Wenjing holds a BA in Language, Culture, and Communication from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford. Born in China, she completed her secondary education in Singapore. As an ENFP, Wenjing enjoys forging connections with people across different cultures and languages while exploring activities where humans reconcile with nature – hiking, diving and running.
