The Michael D. Eisner Arts & Culture Fellowship is a collaborative pilot program by the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) and the Aspen Institute’s Arts Program, made possible through the generous support of the Eisner Foundation.

Together, these partners aim to strengthen the leadership capacity of arts and culture leaders to harness the power of creativity as a force for good in the world.

Thanks to Our Founding Partner

The Eisner Foundation

The Eisner Foundation was established in 1996 by Michael D. Eisner and Jane Eisner to support intergenerational programs that unite and enrich communities through shared experiences.

As the founding partner of this initiative, the Foundation’s support makes it possible to identify, convene, and empower a global, intergenerational community of arts leaders whose creativity and leadership will drive us toward a better future.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how the arts shape the way we understand ourselves and the world. The most impactful work happens when creative leaders have the space and community to think deeply about what they’re building and why. This Fellowship brings together leaders across generations to challenge each other, clarify their purpose, and amplify their impact. Supporting these leaders isn’t just good for the arts, it’s essential for building a stronger society.”
