150 Connecticut education leaders recently attended a Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence event, the first in a series aiming to make Connecticut “the first emotionally intelligent state.” Speakers, including one of our Distinguished Scientists Marc Brackett, led sessions that asked the educators to reflect on SEL success stories.

The Austin SEL initiative educates students on understanding and practicing the concepts of self-awareness, social awareness, interpersonal skills, and decision making.
