The Aspen Institute Business and Society Program First Movers Fellowship

The Aspen Global Leadership Network is a growing, worldwide community of entrepreneurial leaders from business, government and the nonprofit sector -- currently, over 1,300 "Fellows" from 43 countries -- who share a commitment to enlightened leadership and to using their extraordinary creativity, energy and resources to tackle the foremost societal challenges of our times. All share the common experience of participating in the Henry Crown Fellowship or one of the dozen Aspen Institute leadership initiatives it has inspired in the United States, Africa, Central America, India and the Middle East. The First Movers Fellowship serves as an innovation lab for exceptional individuals in business today who are implementing breakthrough strategies to create profitable business growth and positive social change. Over the course of a year, Fellows participate in three seminars built around four core themes: innovation, reflection, leadership and community. Working with each other, and with a team of mentors inside their organization, they will learn how to convert a compelling idea into new products, services, processes and business models. The program will also provide them with the skills they need to lead change within their organizations. Learn more.
