Leaders Forum members gathered in NYC in March 2014 to focus on how to effectively communicate the value of CSR/sustainability initiatives to the mainstream investor community. Several Aspen First Mover Fellows — exceptional business people working at the intersection of corporate profitability and social/environmental value — also participated in the meeting. Leaders Forum members were encouraged to bring a colleague from investor relations/ finance so that they could deepen this conversation within their own company.

The meeting featured an interactive demo of ESG data by a Bloomberg analyst and a conversation with Michelle Edkins, Managing Director and Global Head, Corporate Governance and Responsible Investment, BlackRock. This theme has been identified as a priority to the Leaders Forum members and will continue to be a focus moving forward.
