FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I rsvp for each event?

Each week of the summer, you will receive an email from the Aspen Community Programs (ACP) team with a brief form to fill out for the next week’s events.

Once I rsvp, do I need to bring any kind of confirmation with me to the event?

No! Once you fill out the weekly form, just stop by the passholders table in the Paepcke Building to pick up your credentials before entering the event venue.

If I bought a pass, why do I still need to rsvp?

The rsvp process helps the ACP team determine the seating capacity for each event and allows them to release tickets to the public for purchase.

What events are eligible under my pass?

Your pass gains you entrance to all events under the Hurst Lecture Series, McCloskey Speaker Series and Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series throughout the year. Should special events be added to ACP’s calendar, you will receive an email notification inviting you to rsvp. ACP winter discussion series programs, like Sharing Shakespeare and Great Books, are not included in ACP passes.

How much are individual tickets?

If you choose not to purchase a pass or need additional tickets, they may be purchased through Aspen Show Tix at the Wheeler online or by phone at 970.920.5770. Individual tickets are $30 and there is a $5 fee per order for orders placed online, over the phone or in person. Tickets go on sale to the public 2 weeks prior to each event.

If I can’t attend all the events, should I still buy the pass?

The pass allows for flexibility and convenience. Most events sell out, so by having the pass, one doesn’t need to worry about not getting an individual ticket.

What happens when the passes sell out?

Once passes sell out, individual tickets will need to be purchased.
