Announcing the Aspen Ideas: Economy 2026 Program Tracks

What allows people, communities, and nations to prosper? Who gets to participate in that prosperity? And what institutions, systems, and relationships make it possible?

These questions sit at the center of Aspen Ideas: Economy. In 2026, 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the publication of Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations, they remain urgent as rapid economic change reshapes how people work, build wealth, power communities, and participate in the economy.

The 2026 Tracks

This year’s program will examine economic forces through six tracks designed to bring greater clarity to the choices shaping what comes next.

Experience Tulsa

Across three days of mainstage conversations, intimate roundtables, leadership seminars, and immersive experiences, you’ll explore the forces shaping the global economy while experiencing how they are unfolding across Tulsa.

Tulsa brings together many of the stories shaping the American economy today: industry and reinvention, heritage and innovation, local identity and global ambition
Beyond the program, we’ll offer chances to explore Tulsa, from its acclaimed food and live music to its Art Deco architecture, cultural institutions, and iconic stretch of Route 66.

Join us October 13 – 15 and be in the room for the ideas, connections, and conversations shaping what comes next.
