Africa Leadership Initiative — East Africa, Class 4 — The Challenge of Leadership
The Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) was designed to capture the energy, the talent and the resolve of an emerging generation of leaders in Africa — leaders who have already realized a certain level of success — and to inspire them to move from success to significance by engaging in the foremost challenges of their countries and their times with support and confidence.
ALI/East Africa was launched June of 2002 with an inaugural class of 20 Fellows from Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. The launch of ALI set the pace for a new and passionate search for leadership in East Africa, not just personal leadership and success, but enlightened and values based leaders working toward creating the “good society.”
Moderators include:
- Keith Berwick
- Mariam Luyombo
