In Partnership with the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, and Colorado Mountain College. In a discussion moderated by Professor Tom Buesch of Colorado Mountain College, participants will spend the afternoon examining choreographer Twyla Tharp’s dance “Sue’s Leg” in its historical and cultural setting, and as a performance art.

Guest lecturers will include Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Artistic Director Tom Mossbrucker and Executive Director Jean-Philippe Malaty. After the discussion, participants will attend an evening performance of the piece by the nationally recognized Aspen Sante Fe Ballet.
