The Aspen Institute Business and Society Program hosted the second First Movers Summit in Aspen, Colorado on February 27-March 2, 2014. This weekend event brought together Fellows from all six classes and more than 30 experts in the field of social entrepreneurship.

At the Summit, First Mover Fellows share their inspirational stories about leading projects inside of their companies that add both social and financial value. Watch the video below.
- Paul Dillinger (Head of Global Product Innovation, Levi Strauss & Co.; 2012 Fellow) told us the story of how a moral imperative inspired the creation of Dockers, Wellthread.
- Diana Simmons (Director New Product Commercialization, Clif Bar & Co.; 2011 Fellow) showed us how valuing people inside her organization helped to inspire teams to tackle huge challenges and create social change.
- Adrian Thomas (Vice President of Global Market Access, Global Commercial Strategy Operations and Global Public Health, Janssen; 2013 Fellow) reframed an opportunity and asked the question, “Would we stand up for public healthcare?”
The presentations were followed by a conversation, moderated by David Langstaff (Chair, Aspen Institute Business & Society Program Advisory Board)
