The Aspen Institute’s signature summer festival returns to Colorado in partnership with NBCUniversal News Group, with more than 300 speakers and thousands of attendees set to participate.

The Aspen Institute Latinos and Society program extends their sincerest congratulations to Nathalie Rayes on her nomination as U.S. Ambassador to Croatia.

Speakers include Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament; co-chair of the Commission on the State of the U.S. Olympics and Paralympics Dionne Koller; soccer legend Julie Foudy; Olympic hurdles champion Edwin Moses; and Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom.

Brooklyn Community Arts and Media High School, East Williamsburg Scholars Academy, and Cypress Hills Collegiate Preparatory School were named winners of the Aspen Challenge, for their solutions bold and disruptive enough to earn a place on the Aspen Ideas Festival stage.

Hosted by the Aspen Institute with media partner NBCUniversal News Group, the gathering will take place in Aspen, CO and feature over 60 mainstage interviews, panel discussions, and deep dives on health’s biggest topics.

Leaders and innovators from around the globe to gather in Aspen, CO, to explore bold ideas & engage in deep discussion of the issues shaping our world.

This initiative will help build the understanding of religion’s role in racial justice work, and develop interventions that center, support, and uplift leaders from historically marginalized communities.
