Senior Program Associate, Future Leaders Climate Initiative, Energy and Environment Program

Amy Glassman is a Senior Program Associate for the Future Leaders Climate Initiative in the Aspen Institute’s Energy and Environment Program. In this role, she builds collaborative partnerships, engages stakeholders and participants, provides programmatic and communications support, and assists in planning the Future Leaders Climate Summit and Aspen Ideas: Climate.

Prior to joining the Energy and Environment Program as a communications intern in 2021, Amy worked for over a decade in marketing, communications, and nonprofit community engagement, working primarily for organizations that focus on addressing childhood literacy, food insecurity, and LGBTQ+ youth advocacy.

Amy graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a B.S. in Telecommunications with a focus on Media and Society. She completed her M.A. in Mass Communication at the University of Florida in 2023, where she studied social change movements and public interest communications.

Outside of work, Amy lives in Jacksonville, FL, with her wife and dog, and she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, theatre, books and podcasts.
