Arjan [pronounced ARE-yon] is a trusted and experienced venture investor and the founder of Core Innovation Capital, a leading venture capital fund investing in financial services companies that democratize prosperity. He is a passionate advocate for market-based financial access and empowerment. His investments include Ripple, NerdWallet, PayJoy, Kikoff, Klover, PadSplit, and Atomic. He is a Senior Advisor to the Financial Health Network, the nation’s leading authority on financial health, which he helped start in 2004. Arjan has served on over 15 private and public corporate boards. He is the only VC to have served on the CFPB’s Consumer Advisory Board and the Fed’s Consumer Advisory Counsel. Prior to Core and FHN, Arjan spent a decade as an operator in several venture backed startups as a technology leader, product-manager and CEO. Arjan resides in Los Angeles with his brilliant wife and two beautiful children, with whom he traveled around the world for a year between 2022-2023. Arjan is a Fellow of the ninth class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
