Ashley Wilhelm has worked in the public sector for fifteen years at both the state and local levels, focusing on community initiatives, grant management, policy development, and program management. Ashley is currently the manager of the State Workforce Board with the Workforce Arizona Council, which is responsible for assisting the Arizona Governor in the development, oversight and continuous improvement of Arizona’s workforce system (ARIZONA@WORK). Ashley assists the Council in developing and promoting state workforce policies and strategic investments that create and sustain a diverse pool of skilled workers for in-demand and target industries. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Oregon University, Ashley worked for the Union County Commissioners in the State of Oregon before relocating back to Arizona in 2015 to raise her two children with her husband in her home state.
