Inaugural Scholar-in-Residence, Aspen Global Leadership Network

The moment we’re living and leading in requires a new way of thinking – it is a call for a “third way.” To help the AGLN community explore this notion and more, we’re excited to announce our first ever Scholar-In-Residence, Dr. Bayo Akomolafe. Bayo is a philosopher, writer, trans-public intellectual, and the visionary founder of the Emergence Network.

His work, which he names post-activism, marks an earth-wide effort to sensitize bodies towards new response-abilities and other places of power – a project framed within a material feminist/post-humanist/post-activist ethos and inspired by Yoruba indigenous cosmologies. Learn more in his talk from the 2023 Resnick Aspen Action Forum.

As a part of this new partnership, Bayo will contribute texts, co-create programming, engage at the 2024 Action Forum, and serve as a resource for our community to drive our leadership and impact forward.
