As SVP and Chief Supply Chain Officer of McDonald’s North America, Cesar leads a team that partners across franchisees, suppliers and corporate employees to leverage McDonald’s $16+ billion spend to drive sustainable sourcing practices and deliver value across 15,000+ US and Canadian restaurants. Over the course of his 10+ years at McDonald’s, Cesar has moved on to roles of increasing responsibility at both US and global levels. Prior to his current role, he served as the vice president, global strategic sourcing for food where he implemented sourcing practices leading to improved supply chain resiliency. Prior to joining McDonald’s, Cesar worked at General Mills supporting manufacturing operations across brands like Green Giant and Nature Valley. Cesar continues to call Chicago home with his wife and three children. Cesar is also a passionate advocate for youth, serving on his Local School Council and helping to remove barriers for underrepresented communities.
