Christine Rosen is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where she focuses on American history, society and culture, and technology and human behavior. She is also a monthly columnist for Commentary magazine, one of the cohosts of The Commentary Magazine Daily Podcast, a fellow at the University of Virginia’s Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture, and a founder and senior editor of The New Atlantis. She was previously a distinguished visiting scholar at the Library of Congress.

A historian by training, Rosen has written books about technology and human behavior, the American eugenics movement, Fundamentalist Christianity, and the advancement of women’s rights. Her reviews and essays have appeared in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Washington Post, National Review, The New Republic, and MIT Technology Review. She lives in Washington, D.C., where she is also a martial arts instructor who holds a third-degree black belt in aikido.
