Hope Owens is currently completing a master’s program in industrial and organizational psychology. After graduating college with a B.A. in French and spending a few years overseas, Hope joined Children’s Hospital staff in 2004 and led the training and education department. In 2017, she joined LCMC Health as an organizational development consultant, focusing on workforce development. She manages programs designed to upskill incumbent workers and train community job-seekers for employment at LCMC Health. She also coordinates with local high schools to provide career exposure and internship opportunities for local students. She designs and teaches technical and soft-skills curriculum focused on Microsoft Word and Excel, customer service, team building, motivation, and coaching.

Hope Owens is a member of the New Orleans Workforce Leadership Academy, Class of 2019, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.

The Workforce Leadership Academies are part of the Economic Opportunity Fellows Network, a network of leadership and fellowship programs run by the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program.
