Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
Jaime Jimenez is a Center for Rising Generations (CRG) Associate in the Education and Society Program at the Aspen Institute supporting research and strategy focused on youth opportunity, education, and workforce systems. His work centers on elevating youth voice, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, and helping translate research into practical tools for communities and decision-makers.
Before joining Aspen, Jaime served as the Data and Research Coordinator at the National Youth Employment Coalition, where he led national research on youth workforce ecosystems and Opportunity Youth. Jaime has contributed to national conversations on youth employment and economic mobility, including speaking at the White House Youth Summit alongside former Secretary of Labor Julie Su and presenting at the UCLA Center for the Developing Adolescent Summit on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the workforce landscape.
Jaime’s work is shaped by his experience immigrating to the United States at 17, where he balanced school, work, and raising his younger brother. Jaime graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Outside of work, you can find him playing beach volleyball on the weekends near the Lincoln Memorial or exploring DC’s beautiful architecture.
