Digital Associate, Marketing and Communications

As Digital Associate, Jessica Tarin supports the Creative Services division within the Communications and Marketing Department, specializing in strategy development, storytelling, and content creation for the organization’s projects and programs. 

Previously, she helped mission-driven brands grow, tell their stories, and inspire action through creative campaigns and consumer-focused solutions, collaborating with clients across 14 industries, including Fortune 500 companies and global organizations like the UN Environment Programme.

Before joining the organization, Jessica held strategic and consulting roles with startups, nonprofits, and marketing agencies across the U.S. and internationally, specializing in social innovation, digital marketing, and community engagement. She is also the founder of Viajeras Fronterizas, a binational community empowering women through travel, and served as the U.S. Youth Delegate at the United Nations Environment Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. 

Jessica holds a Master’s in Technopreneurship and Innovation from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from New Mexico State University. She was recognized as one of the 50 Most Promising Multicultural Students in the U.S. by the American Advertising Federation.

A proud border native of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Jessica brings a culturally sensitive perspective to her work. Having lived in 4 countries and traveled to 22, she draws on her global experiences to foster collaboration and connection. She currently resides in El Paso, where she enjoys exploring new destinations, volunteering, creating content, and weightlifting. She shares her home with her two dogs and a bunny.
