John Deasy

John Deasy is a principle and consultant at Cambiar & Deasy Consulting. Prior to this, he was president of the Bezos Family Foundation. Deasy was previously executive vice president for education at the Wonderful Company and superintendent in residence for The Broad Center at Yale. He also consulted for Just Instruction, Rethinc, and the National Student Support Accelerator, providing executive coaching to leaders in urban school systems and leading sector CEOs. Earlier in his career, Deasy was deputy director of education at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Additionally, he was superintendent of schools in six urban districts across the country. Deasy is a senior moderator for the Aspen Institute and an Aspen Global Leadership Network fellow.
