Laura Hines-Pierce is co-CEO of Hines, a $92B global real estate firm. She leads alongside her father, Chairman Jeff Hines, guiding firm-wide strategy, governance, and growth. Since joining in 2012, she has led transformative initiatives—modernizing investment and operating platforms, expanding access to capital, and embedding sustainability and inclusion across the business. Under her leadership, Hines has closed $34.8B in global deals and raised $12.1B across funds (as of mid-2025). She previously led the delivery of River Point, a 52-story tower in Chicago, and helped restructure the firm’s investment management business. Laura serves on the boards of the CLE Foundation, supporting diverse students in real estate careers, and Rice University’s Baker Institute. A graduate of Duke University and Harvard Business School, she lives in Houston with her husband and three children. She is driven by a belief in generational stewardship, institutional integrity, and building for impact beyond the balance sheet.
