New York, NY, United States

In 1996, Marianne Boesky founded her eponymous gallery dedicated to developing artistic practices and cultivating relationships with institutions and collectors. For three decades, her artist-centric approach has realized museum exhibitions, public art projects, and commissions for artists around the world.

Marianne Boesky Gallery has been instrumental in developing the careers of some of the most influential artists working today. In its early years, the gallery represented Lisa Yuskavage, Sarah Sze, Yoshitomo Nara, and Takashi Murakami, among others. In 2007, the gallery opened its flagship space in Chelsea; in the following years, Boesky experimented with spaces on the Upper East Side and Lower East Side, and established a longstanding presence in Aspen. Today, the gallery continues to champion the work of established and emerging artists alike.

Boesky serves on the Board of Trustees of the Anderson Ranch Arts Center and the advisory board of the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is a member of the American Friends of the Centre du Pompidou and a founding member of the Middlebury Museum and Visual Arts Council. Marianne is a Fellow in the inaugural class of the Michael D. Eisner Arts & Culture Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
