Hartford Workforce Leaders Academy, Class of 2017-18, Economic Opportunities Program

Executive Director, Capital City Education Alliance, Hartford, CT

Martha joined the Capital City Education Alliance (CCEA) in March 2015 after a long career in both the corporate sector and running her business, The Rite Concept, for 17 years. Martha graduated from the Harvard Business School, published a book, presented at national conferences, and has been featured on several business magazine covers.

Martha single-handedly overhauled and rebranded the CCEA, defined a new mission, and created its unique program, Let’s Paint! She loves bringing her business acumen and creativity to the nonprofit sector and changing the lives of the youth with whom the organization is involved. Martha recently represented CCEA on a team of six nonprofit executives to submit and win a national grant for the city of Hartford. She is currently doing coursework to complete her masters degree in workforce development.

Martha Guidry is a member of the Hartford Workforce Leaders Academy, Class of 2017-18, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
