Program Associate, EPPIC, Energy and Environment Program

Melody is the Program Associate for the End Plastic Pollution International Collaborative (EPPIC) within the Energy and Environment Program at the Aspen Institute. EPPIC is an international public-private partnership with the aim to curb plastic pollution through research, policy change, and convening multi-sector stakeholders across the world.

With 6 years of work in the environmental field and nonprofits, Melody has expertise in event planning logistics with a meticulous eye for detail to ensure that EPPIC convenings run smoothly and effectively to drive the impact of every event. 

Previously at Climate Policy Initiative, she was the Operations and HR Associate coordinating offices in both DC and SF for 4.5 years. Prior to that she worked in climate activism for Clean Water Action in Oakland, CA and is also passionate about Fair Trade initiatives. She worked at Fair Trade USA and the Domestic Fair Trade Association, for social media marketing. She loves logistics, translating complex issues into tangible actions, and always feels inspired by working in the environmental field.
