Han Chen is a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in finance, real estate, and hospitality across China and the United States.
After more than two decades in the corporate sector, he has shifted his focus to the not-for-profit field, with a particular emphasis on education. He currently chairs the Board of Trustees at the International School of Beijing and previously served nearly a decade on the advisory board of Daystar Academy.
In the for-profit sector, he served as CEO of Tian Rui Hotel Corporation, where he oversaw the growth of the Super 8 hotel brand from 80 to over 1,000 properties, establishing it as China’s leading international economy hotel chain. He previously served as CFO of Wan Tong Real Estate in Beijing and held investment banking and private equity roles at global institutions in New York, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
Han holds a B.A. from Hope College and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
