Sean Manning is the publisher and vice president of Simon & Schuster. He has edited numerous bestsellers by authors including Bob Dylan, Sebastian Junger, Val Kilmer, Jennette McCurdy, Jerry Seinfeld, Howard Stern and Alex Trebek. 

Prior to joining Simon & Schuster, Sean attracted national attention as the executive editor of Rhapsody, an in-flight magazine published by United Airlines, which The New York Times described as “the Paris Review of the air.” Sean is the author of the memoir “The Things That Need Doing” and his feature writing has appeared in GQ, Esquire, Playboy and The Village Voice. Sean is a Fellow in the inaugural class of the Michael D. Eisner Arts & Culture Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
