Tom McLeod is an entrepreneur and investor whose work sits at the intersection of technology and cultural infrastructure. Currently president and partner at Saltwater Capital, he backs founders who challenge conventional thinking and are driven to create lasting impact across industries. Tom previously founded Omni, a storage and logistics platform acquired by Coinbase, and Arkive, a platform designed to unlock access to culturally significant assets.  

Along with a passion for tech and the arts, Tom has a dedicated interest in service and supporting diverse communities. He sits on the board of Camelback Ventures as well as advising numerous founders and startups. Originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, he is now based in Santa Monica enjoying a diverse number of hobbies from collectible cars, to learning Japanese and pursuing his pilot’s license. Tom is a Fellow of the Technology Leaders Initiative of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
