Tim is the co-Founder and CEO of HelloCreator, a technology company, funded by A16Z, that is harnessing AI to support the productivity, creativity and mental well-being of creators around the world. Tim is the founder and former CEO of Pandora, the popular personalized radio service that he started in 2000 and guided through its public offering in 2011. Tim is an award-winning composer and accomplished musician with 20 years of experience in the music industry – spanning production, audio engineering, film scoring and live performance.
Trained as a jazz pianist, his musical background spans such genres as rock, blues, jazz and classical music. Tim received his B.A. from Stanford University, where he studied computer acoustics and recording technology. He is a 2010 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
