Vice President Joe Biden spoke at the Aspen Institute Summit on Inequality and Opportunity on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Biden discussed root causes of poverty and inequality in America. He separately addressed topics related to terrorism, ISIS, and Syrian refugees.

The Aspen Institute Summit on Inequality and Opportunity was a gathering dedicated to nonpartisan dialogue about the widening opportunity gap in the US. We convened 200+ of our nation’s most important policy makers, thought leaders, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and practitioners from all over the country for a day of ideas, problem solving, and values-based exchange. By highlighting the newest research, best practices, and emerging innovations in the fight against poverty, this Aspen Institute Summit is a call to action in the run-up to the 2016 Election.
