Rachel Wheeler joined the Business & Society Program in March 2019. As the Senior Events & Communications Associate, she leads logistics for all of the Program’s events—including the First Movers Fellowship Program, the Aspen Leaders Forum, and the Aspen ESG Summit. She also supports the Communications Manager in the design and execution of all communications outputs.
Rachel came to the Aspen Institute after a year living in rural Patagonia, teaching English to middle-schoolers. Prior to that, she worked at the nonprofit Help For Children, where she planned fundraising events within the finance community to fight child abuse. She graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Management & Organizations and Global Business, and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship.
In her free time, she loves to bake, run, crochet, and puzzle.
