All are welcome to join the Aspen Institute Forum on Women and Girls and the Aspen Institute Women of Color Affinity Group for a virtual conversation with Cecilia Muñoz, Vice President, Public Interest Technology and Local Initiatives at New America, and Gloria Riviera, Correspondent for News at ABC Television, to discuss Cecilia’s new book, More than Ready: Be Strong and Be You . . . and Other Lessons for Women of Color on the Rise.

Cecilia Muñoz was the first Latinx woman to lead the White House Domestic Policy Council and the most senior Latinx woman in President Obama’s administration. In her book, More than Ready: Be Strong and Be You . . . and Other Lessons for Women of Color on the Rise, she shares insights and reflections from this experience as well as practical tools for women of color who are forging their professional journeys and breaking ground in different fields.

Cecilia and Gloria will discuss lessons from their professional journey and reflect on how other women of color can implement the tools shared in the book.
