Agenda Announced for 2023 Aspen Security Forum

United States and global leaders to address urgent national security and foreign policy challenges at the 14th Aspen Security Forum, held with media partners NBCUniversal News Group and the Financial Times.

––The Aspen Strategy Group today shared the agenda for the upcoming 2023 Aspen Security Forum. The organization’s flagship annual gathering will take place in Aspen, Colorado from July 18-21. The Forum will feature current and former U.S. government and military officials, foreign cabinet officials, business leaders, key academics, and prominent journalists. Panel discussions and one-on-one interviews will address the most critical national security and foreign policy issues facing the U.S. and the global community.

Speakers confirmed include: Antony J. Blinken, U.S. Secretary of State; Alejandro N. Mayorkas, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security; Linda Thomas-Greenfield, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations; Arati Prabhakar; Director, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy; Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Canada; James Cleverly, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; William J. Burns, Director, Central Intelligence Agency; Jake Sullivan, Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs; Christine Wormuth, U.S. Secretary of the Army; John Aquilino, Commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command; James Dickinson, Commander, U.S. Space Command; Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary General, North Atlantic Treaty Organization; Emmanuel Bonne, Diplomatic Adviser to President Macron; Monica Juma, National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kenya; K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law of Singapore; and other prominent speakers yet to be publicly announced.

“The 2023 Aspen Security Forum will convene global leaders from Washington and the world over, including senior government officials, C-suite leadership, media, and civil society. Together we will explore the technological, security, economic, and geopolitical risks that lie just over the horizon, and work creatively to meet the challenges of tomorrow,” said Anja Manuel, Executive Director of the Aspen Strategy Group and former State Department official. 

Anchors and Correspondents from NBCUniversal News Group and journalists from the Financial Times, the media partners of the Aspen Security Forum, will drive conversations and coverage throughout the event.
