Benjamin Lewis is a first-year student at the University of Oklahoma studying Economics and International Security Studies. He is passionate about integrating diverse perspectives into modern policymaking and believes deeply in the importance of education in crafting global citizens. By spending a year in Morocco through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y), Benjamin has gained firsthand insight into cross-cultural learning and international engagement. His current research, which focuses on the lasting effects of Indian boarding schools, has strengthened his commitment to shaping an educational system that provides all students with the opportunity to thrive.
