Deputy Director of Strategy

Caroline serves as Deputy Director of Strategy on the Aspen Institute’s enterprise Strategy Team, where she contributes to the Institute’s overall strategic direction, helps create the systems and structures that keep teams working in sync across the enterprise, and partners directly with individual programs and departments on their own strategic reviews and plans. Previously, Caroline served as the managing director for the Citizenship and American Identity Program, where she helped lead initiatives focused on the challenge of sustaining democratic and civic culture in the United States, including co-founding the Better Arguments Project. Caroline joined the Aspen Institute in 2014. She holds a master’s degree in public policy management from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Washington University.
