Kira Tebbe

Senior Manager, Benefits Transformation Initiative, Financial Security Program

Kira Tebbe is a Senior Manager at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program, where she works to ensure that public benefits systems are resilient and accessible to those who need them. Working with leaders across government, nonprofits, and the private sector, Kira leads initiatives that strengthen how benefits programs are designed and delivered via coalitions, pilots, and convenings.

Previously, Kira co-founded the Digital Service team at the Administration for Children and Families (the second-largest division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) where she applied technology, design, and data to improve operations and customer experience across numerous nationwide programs. Prior to that, she was a data scientist at IBM Watson Health and EF Education First. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Digital.gov.

Kira holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Math and Sociology from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
