Rachel Wheeler is the Senior Events & Communications Associate at the Aspen Institute Business & Society Program, where she leads the operational execution of the Program’s events and communications. She oversees logistics for a wide range of convenings—including the Business & Society Summit, the First Movers Fellowship, and the Economic Mobility Fellowship—and is passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality experiences for participants. She also leads production of the Program’s monthly newsletter, manages its website and social media, and supports the design of publications, reports, and other communications.
Rachel joined the Business & Society Program in 2019 after spending a year in rural Patagonia teaching English to middle school students. Before that, she worked at the nonprofit Help For Children, where she planned fundraising events within the finance community to support efforts to prevent and treat child abuse. She graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Management & Organizations and Global Business, and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship.
Outside of work, Rachel loves to bake, run, crochet, read, and work on jigsaw puzzles.
