Alex Gabriel is APEP’s Research and Management Intern. In this role, he is supporting the creation of metrics and survey questions for APEP’s evaluation of the Aspen Challenge – a youth empowerment effort – and data collection and analysis for APEP’s “champion tracking” project for CARE. In addition, he provides administrative support, and handles event logistics and website maintenance. Alex serves as a teaching assistant for the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Maryland where he develops curriculum and co-instructs courses on social innovation and entrepreneurship. His experience encompasses teaching, nonprofit development and research, and social policy research. Alex is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Maryland. He holds a B.A. in Rhetoric and a B.S. in Economics from DePaul University.
