Co-founder and President, America Succeeds

Tim Taylor is the cofounder and president of America Succeeds, bringing more than two decades of experience at the intersection of education, workforce development, and public policy. He has launched and scaled national nonprofits, built values-aligned teams, and helped shape employer-led conversations on career-connected learning and durable skills.

Named one of Getting Smart’s “60 People Shaping the Future of K–12 Education,” Tim is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and has served on the XPRIZE Brain Trust for Learning + Society. America Succeeds’ work on durable skills has been featured by Forbes, Fortune, Inc., BBC, and other outlets.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University. An avid outdoorsman and live music fan, he lives in Denver with his wife, Clare, and their Boykin Spaniel, his hiking partner, bird dog, and a reminder that enthusiasm and instinct often matter more than a perfect plan.
