Ray Boshara

Senior Policy Advisor, Financial Security Program

Ray Boshara is a Senior Policy Advisor at both the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program and WashU’s Center for Social Development. Previously he served with U.S. Senator Bob Casey, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and New America. Over the last 20 years, Ray helped develop several bipartisan, federal savings and investment policies including, most recently, 401Kids and Trump Accounts.

His books include The Future of Building Wealth; Economic Mobility; and The Next Progressive Era. He’s also published in the Washington Post, New York Times, and Atlantic Monthly, and has testified before Congress several times. Raised in Akron, Ohio, Ray is a first-gen graduate of The Ohio State University, and now lives in St. Louis.
