City Innovation

City Innovation elevates innovative solutions to challenging urban problems. Through Bloomberg CityLab and year-round convenings, City Innovation connects, energizes, and inspires leaders, while amplifying ideas that work.

Bloomberg CityLab

Organized by Bloomberg Philanthropies in partnership with the Aspen Institute, Bloomberg CityLab brings together global mayors alongside prominent city innovators, business leaders, urban experts, artists, and activists to discuss and discover replicable solutions to pressing issues.

Featured speakers and participants for the eleventh Bloomberg CityLab included Michael R. Bloomberg, Mayor of Mexico City Clara Brugada, Foreign Secretary of Mexico Juan Ramón de la Fuente, Albert Lin, Tatiana Bilbao, Lesley Lokko, mayors from hundreds of cities across the globe, and more. Topics ranged from Latin American urbanism, to the intersection of migration and homelessness, to green funding for cities.
