Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Clark County School District serves approximately 288,326 students across 374 schools. The student population represents over 133 countries and 114 languages spoken at home, including 15.8% of students who are multilingual learners.
Our mission is that all students progress in school and graduate prepared to succeed and contribute in a diverse global society.to prepare every student for a future of their choosing by providing rigorous, relevant, and equitable learning experiences. Our strategic plan, The Destination District, released in May 2026, outlines three key priorities, including Academic Excellence, Career-Connected Learning and Durable Skills, and Safe and Supportive Schools. Within these priorities, we set a measurable target that 100% of students graduate with marketable assets—such as college credits, credentials, a Nevada State Seal, a military pathway, or a durable skills portfolio.
CCSD is joining the Social Mobility Leadership Network in order to continue the positive trajectory of increasing access and success in high-quality advanced coursework as outlined in the Strategic Plan, specifically, improving students’ access to college and career by expanding dual enrollment, Advanced Placement, magnet programs, and Career and Technical Education in areas that do not have access, including for rural students.
