The Rising Generations Strategy Group is a new initiative designed to shape a bold, shared vision for the future of American education. Bringing together policymakers, education leaders, business executives, philanthropists, civic influencers, and young people, the group serves as an intergenerational forum to develop ideas and strategies that prepare the next generation to thrive in civic life, the workforce, and their communities.
Modeled on Aspen’s longstanding strategy group tradition, the Rising Generations Strategy Group convenes leaders across political and ideological differences to surface innovative solutions and build durable consensus around the future of education. Members work collaboratively to explore key challenges and opportunities across four critical areas shaping the future of learning: technology and artificial intelligence in education, career-connected learning, school choice and emerging learning models, and the role of state governance in ensuring opportunity and accountability.
Through convenings, collaborative dialogue, and the development of frameworks and policy ideas, the group aims to elevate a new “North Star” for education: a shared commitment to ensuring that every young person is prepared to lead, work, and participate fully in a rapidly changing world.
