Milwaukee Public Schools

About the District

Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is focused on academic achievement, safe and welcoming schools, and efficient operations to help our 60,000-plus students truly thrive. Through our new literacy plan, MPS educators are using the latest research-based curriculum to teach all students — and all means all — to read. Our focus on college and career readiness has led to the highest graduation rate in 15 years, yet we are focused on the work ahead so every student graduates on time and prepared for success. Joining the Social Mobility Leadership Network will amplify our efforts to help all MPS students find a strong path to college, career, and long-term success.
