Fixing Work in the South: Perspectives from Job Quality Fellows

The Fixing Work in the South series brings together Aspen Institute Job Quality Fellows from across the American South who are on the frontlines of expanding access to good jobs in their communities.

About This Series

These practitioners—spanning economic and workforce development, employee ownership, worker organizing, advocacy, philanthropy, and business lending and advising—share a common conviction: working people deserve to share in our economy’s abundance and the fruits of their labor.

Through this series, Fellows will explore the barriers to good jobs in the South and examine promising strategies emerging from the field, and challenge conventional wisdom about what economic and business models and policies it takes to build an economy that works for all.
